Alan was born in 1971 in Zagreb. His business experience is based, among others, on many years of managing construction company called „Parting“ ( 130 employees) as an owner and CEO. The company was founded in 1991 and sold in 2004 and Alan was named the best young manager in 2002 in Croatia. He was also socially active as vice president of the Croatian Employers’ Association and president of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs’ Association from 2003 till 2008. On behalf of the Croatian government Alan participated as a leader in EU accession negotiations (Chapter Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship). Since 2008 he writes as a columnist for the leading Croatian monthly business journal on the topic of leadership and personal development.
Since 2006 till now Alan works as a coach and trainer in the field of leadership and personal development for companies at home and abroad. He is a lecturer at the Academy of Executive Coaching in London.
He lives in Zagreb with his wife and two children.
